Detailed Itinerary

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital, is a fascinating blend of ancient heritage and lively urban culture. Home to sacred temples, historic royal squares, and centuries-old architecture, the city offers an immersive journey through Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, proceed on the city tour of Kathmandu.

Pashupatinath Temple – One of Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temples, located along the Bagmati River. The main temple, with its tiered roof and golden spire, is a masterpiece of Hindu architecture and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It attracts thousands of devotees each year.

Boudhanath Stupa – Located 11 km from central Kathmandu, this is one of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Its iconic dome features four pairs of watchful eyes symbolizing awareness. Built on an octagonal base with 108 images of Buddha and prayer wheels inscribed with the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, it is a major centre of Tibetan Buddhism.

Patan Darbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. Durbar Square is a marvel of Newa architecture.

Golden Temple – Also known as the Hiranya Varna or Suwarna Mahavihara, this unique Buddhist monastery is just north of Durbar Sq. Legends related that the monastery was founded in the 12th century, although the earliest record of its existence is 1409.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, proceed for a visit to Kathmandu city and Swayambhu Nath temple.

Kathmandu Durbar Square – A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic area features ancient temples, palaces, and courtyards dating from the 12th to 18th centuries. Once the royal residence and coronation site of Nepal’s monarchs, it remains the cultural and architectural heart of the old city.

Swayambhunath Temple – Perched on a hill west of Kathmandu, Swayambhunath is one of Nepal’s oldest religious sites, dating back to the 5th century. Its stupa, with Buddha’s all-seeing eyes, symbolises wisdom and compassion. The complex includes shrines and temples from the Lichchhavi period and offers sweeping views of the valley.

After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward flight.

Notes on The Quote

The quote is in American dollars and is worked out based on the minimum pax in the group, as mentioned in the cost grid above.

In the event of a particular hotel not being available, we will make an alternate arrangement that will be similar to or higher than the quoted hotel.

The price in USD reflects current exchange rates and prevailing ground realities. In the event of significant fluctuations (i.e., beyond ±5%) in currency or operating costs, we reserve the right to revise the quote, provided the tour has not yet been booked and paid for in full.

The cost is based on currently applicable taxes and tariffs. Should these change due to factors beyond our control, we will revise the pricing accordingly to reflect the new reality.

Once the tour gets booked, we need the full name along with the date of birth of the guests to secure the accommodation.
